چکیده

Users of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) are increasingly overwhelmed with the wide range providers and services offered by each provider. As such, many users select based on description alone. An emerging alternative is to use decision support system (DSS), which typically relies gaining insights from observational data in order assist customer making decisions regarding optimal deployment cloud applications. The primary activity such systems generation prediction model (e.g. using machine learning), requires significantly large amount training data. However, considering varying architectures applications, providers, offerings, this not sustainable it incurs additional time cost collect train models. We overcome through developing Transfer Learning (TL) approach where knowledge (in form associated set) gained running an application particular IaaS transferred substantially reduce overhead building new models for performance applications and/or infrastructures. In article, we present our evaluate extensive experimentation involving three real world over two major public namely Amazon Google. Our evaluation shows that novel two-mode TL scheme increases overall efficiency factor 60 percent reduction generating model. test under number cross-application cross-cloud scenarios.

Stochastic Decision Making in Manufacturing Environments

Decision making plays an important role in economics, psychology, philosophy, mathematics, statistics and many other fields. In each field, decision making consists of identifying the values, uncertainties and other issues that define the decision. In any field, the nature of the decisions is affected by environmental characteristics. In this paper, we are considered the production planning pro...

Leveraging cloud based big data analytics in knowledge management for enhanced decision making in organizations

In recent past, big data opportunities have gained much momentum to enhance knowledge management in organizations. However, big data due to its various properties like high volume, variety, and velocity can no longer be effectively stored and analyzed with traditional data management techniques to generate values for knowledge development. Hence, new technologies and architectures are required ...

The interplay between cost accounting knowledge and presentation formats in cost-based decision-making

Most studies on cost-based decision-making examine the profit impact of cost reports that rely on different methods to allocate costs. In practice, firms’ cost reports often employ the same cost allocation method with subtle variations in the way that the cost data are presented. This paper examines experimentally the profit impact of a cost report’s presentation format in relation to a decisio...
